Journal relates to ICT in Education

Played World of Warcraft(WoW) before? In the Journal about ICT in Education shows the case study of a pilot project involving students across two Arts discipline collaborating via the game, WoW to produce a new animated adaptation of a tales. Students learn the tales through a game that specially created by the Web 2.0 technologies. Students also are encouraged or forced to give their comment through the game. Assessment also through the same game. The result shows that students involved were satisfied in the learning process. It seems  like the project that's in conjunction with experimentation with Web 2.0 technologies fits better with the increasing digitalised, unfixed and interdisciplinary world that students will face in future. This type of project may be will be use as a model of learning that consider as the best suited to the future especially for nowadays generation- ICT generation.

  2. Me too. I like to play the game too (e.g Age of empire and Age of mythology.

For example, when you play Age of Mythology, you can know some of the myths and cultures of the ancient history such as the war strategies, the ancient creatures, their buildings and also their beliefs. It is good to play the game while trying to understand the ancient history as I really like the ancient history. And sometimes you may be surprised that their civilization is better than what we expect they were. Have fun guys ;)

  3. It's unexpected that World of Warcraft also may help in T&L process. Even though still has many weakness, but Web 2.0 technologies really help towards the more interactive and fun in T&L process.
